Christmas time

This year we celebrated christmas in our new house. Although fresh from moving (still with boxes everywhere), we enjoyed December days with baking, decorating and advent calendars.

Agnes drew a picture of Santa and his reindeers on the whiteboard. She came and got me and said: 'look what I drew! Santa is boys, right?'
Can you see his 'appendix'??? She thought that was hilarious!

We made oranges with cloves...smelling lovely! And we made a gingerbread house, and a christmas tree made out of meringue.

And we baked cookies. Lots of cookies. Here the girls are decorating our christmas staple: Småformer! Look how colourful they turned out!

No Christmas without Druesalat!!!

And of course - the highlight: the Advent calendar! Wow, one present each day before Christmas! This year (because of chaos with boxes and all in the moving process) we hung the calendars on the room doors on a string. But it turned out quite nice. In them this year, was lots of Lego, new shoes, cinema tickets, texters and paint, and of course the odd Haighs chocolate! Mmmmmm....
