Christmas Eve in the Hills

Christmas Eve was a very relaxed day in the Considine household. We had a long breakfast - digging into all our Christmas foods; spekka-laks (cured salmon), rull og druesalat (homemade lambs log and grape salad), homemade sourdough bread and hot chocolate! Mmmmmm.....

In the afternoon we had risengrynsgrøt (rice porridge) with cinnamon, sugar and butter, and Milla found the almond this year and won a marzipan pig! Yay! And in the evening we had Christmas dinner; hjemmelaga Pinnekjøtt (homemade cured and dried mutton ribs) og kålrabistappe! All about food!!! Could not be better than this!!! After dinner it was time for cakes and homemade chocolates - and a Skype session with Besta and Besten whilst opening presents!

The day started well: I got a coffee machine!!!
Elliot is learning how to brew espressos for us!
Lots of beautiful Christmas presents this year!
Agnes had wished for a Batman costume for aaaaaages. Finally she got one!
Operation was a popular present! Thanks Alicia!!!
Agnes is living in her Batman suit....still!!!
Skyping with Besta and Besten
Milla and me building with her Lego present. Thank you to Nissen in Hurdal!
Best in show! It's a dog grooming palace!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. Thank you so much to all of you for thinking of our girls! We appreciate it a lot - seeing smiles on their little faces is the best thing in the world!
