Treehotel offers a unique hotel experience: treerooms with contemporary design in the middle of unspoiled nature. Here you can forget about the time constraints of everyday life, enjoy the serenity, and rejuvenate in a sophisticated yet familiar environment. Treehotel was inspired by the film ”The Tree Lover” by Jonas Selberg Augustsen. It’s a tale of three men from the city who want to go back to their roots by building a tree house together. “The Tree Lover” is a philosophic story about the significance of trees for us human beings.
Treehotel is located in Harads, near the Lule river, about 100 kilometers from Luleå airport, in Sweden. The village has a population of about 600 and features a restaurant, shop and guest house. The most striking part of Harads is its magnificent surroundings. From Treehotel’s rooms you get a fantastic view of the Lule River valley, miles of forest and the powerful river. And what tree-rooms!!! Suspended 4-6 metres above ground, this must be the coolest hotel rooms IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!
I had always dreamed about staying at this hotel, ever since I first read about it - and it was amazing just to walk around and have a closer look at all the different rooms. The UFO turned out to be the family room!

This is the UFO family room. Upon pressing a button on the stem of the tree a ladder lowered from the centre of the UFO!! Beam me up, Scotty!!!

ReplyDeleteSo amazing! Hope the dresses fitted. They are so funny in the sizing, so I have figured out to stretch them whilst wet to fit better. But I adore the print and colours on them. We wear them all the time!
ReplyDeleteAva's dress is a little short to wear on its own but that's fine as it's rarely warm enough to wear a dress without leggings here anyway ;) Otherwise it's a good fit. DeleteVery cute! Hope they get some use out of them even though a little short. Have you tried stretching it after washing when wet? I get many cm extra wear out of the girls dresses by doing that. Saw it on Pinterest.
