Supper-time!

Whilst I made hot chocolates, the girls made tonights supper; broedskiva med leverpostei og majones og gastromat! The favourite sandwich ever! For those who don't know 'leverpostei', it's like liver pate, and all Norwegian kids grow up on this stuff - it's like the Vegemite of Norway.

Calm down, Besta (we knew you would 'freak out' (Milla's words) ) - it was all very safe with handling the big knife, and pappa was right there to help.

  1. Our local Scandinavian store sells fresh homemade leverpostei. I remember how much Ava enjoyed your sandwiches so I'm always tempted to buy some except that it comes in such a huge container. I imagine she'd have a few sandwiches, decide she's over it and I'd be left eating it all - I'm not 100% sure that's the best thing for a pregnant person to do!
Maybe we'll have to get some for your visit :)

    1. You have a Scandinavian store...mmmm, lucky you! Yes, leverpostei is so good, but you are right, you should not eat that when pregnant. One more thing for the to do list when visiting! Gosh, we need plenty of days in SanFran!! There are so many things to do there! So many sights to see!

  2. It's not right near our place but we could walk there in about half an hour - although we might not want to lug that suitcase of goodies back! There are plenty of buses that go right past the store though. Oh, and I'm sure that at some point you'll be testing out my cargo bike! That'll definitely hold a lot of Scandinavian treats :)
