The girls are very proud to be school girls.
The first week has gone very well. They have been extremely tired in the evenings, but it is a huge change with the long days; from 8:30 in the morning till 15:15 in the afternoon. Well done, Agnes and Elliot!
The girls look so cute in their uniforms. I'm always jealous that Ava doesn't get to wear one.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a long school day. The girls must be exhausted by the end. Here the Kindergarten (reception) kids have a slightly shorter day than the rest of the elementary school. Ava's grade goes from 9:10am through to 2:25pm. A lot shorter than what your girls are doing. Next year she'll finish an hour later.
The public school start times are all staggered here to allow for them to share school buses throughout the district. Ava's school starts the latest out of all of them. Some start as early as 8:15am. I am so grateful that she managed to get into a late starting school - and that we live a 10 minute walk away (for now at least). Can you imagine me trying to get Ava to school by 8:15am every day?!
