Due to public holidays and other unforeseen events, we had to celebrate Milla's birthday a little earlier that usual this year; two weeks before her real birthday. She had her party at the gymnastics club, and of course got to open all the presents from her friends on the day. But we had also got presents from Grandma, tante Merethe, Elise, Ava & Lola, Bestefar and Bestemor in Hurdal, and from us and Besta and Besten in Vanse. Lots of presents! And these ones, we did not open until Milla's real birthday - the 1st of February.
She has been so patient! Just waiting and smiling with excitement. The presents have been decorating the combustion heater for weeks! And because she had been so good, we thought we'd surprise her the night before... After everyone was in their PJ's - we called for a surprise party in Milla's room! We thought we'd open ours and Besta & Besten's presents, as we knew she had wished for this for a whole year!! The big one is from Besta and the little one from us. .....oooooohhhhhh, she was SO excited!
YES! A PINK RADIO!!! Wow, she was so happy. As she said: 'I have wanted one, like, forever!!' Our present was a cd with all of her favourite songs - all the songs she gets jiggy with in the car when she hears them on the radio. The cd is called Milla's favourites, and the playlist starts with this one:
