From Saskatoon to Regina!

From the cityscape of Saskatoon, we have now relocated to the rural surroundings of Regina, where we will be exploring First Nation areas of Fort Qu'Appelle and the Piapot Reserve.

DINOSAURS!

Not sure you can see him, but this is sleeping Gopher in his nest!

The Gordon Oakes Aboriginal Centre

A hoodie (hettegenser) is called a Bunnyhug in Canadian! I love it! This one is coming home with me.

In Regina we were met by Heather and her husband. They took us to dinner - and they have a h-u-g-e car!

The nicest family: Heather, husband Beatle and daughter Sooki
After dinner we headed for Walmart for some grocery shopping. Sara had been wondering if they had Walmarts over here - pure happiness when we found one!

Halloween all over the place!

Look what we found! A little piece of Australia on the countryside of Canada :-)

Students at Regina satellite campus invited us to a Toga party!

They had even hung up fliers everywhere!

A long but great day meeting everyone

This must be the biggest ham & cheese sandwich I have ever seen!!!

The Canada Geese have started the flight southbound these days. These guys are are nearest neighbours. We'll be sure to wave them goodbye when they take off...
