Four Directions Community Health Centre work with the changing needs of the diverse population of Regina to achieve health and wellness for individuals, families and community. Two of the Centre's strengths are:
“The Advisors’ Circle” – The Advisors’ Circle, which meets regularly, represents the community’s voice by reviewing Centre activities and programming.
“Dream Team Volunteer Central“ – A community-wide network of volunteers and volunteer opportunities, including opportunities at Four Directions.
In addition the centre offers programs for addictions services, chronic conditions nurse educators, dental health education, elder care, healthies babies possible program, speech pathology and language, primary care services and the Sunrise Health Program, which is a team of public health nurses who develop and deliver programs that are based on the strengths of the clients.
The wonderful Lisa Workman - Aboriginal Community Program Coordinator - showed us around and explained the role of Four Directions in the community - thank you Lisa!
