The Barossa - famous for its award winning wine. Australia's most famous wine region is on Adelaide's doorstep just an hour away from where we live. With over 80 cellar doors and 150 wineries, you'll be hard-pressed to pick a favourite in the Barossa.
We stayed at Novotel and this relaxed resort is overlooking the vineyards. Our room boasted panoramic views across the Barossa Ranges and Jacob’s Creek Vineyards. Having dinner at the restaurant, we had lovely food and undulating views...look at that balcony - just the perfect platform to send out our paper planes!
