Last night we had a freak storm roll in from the ocean! We were treated to a spectacular thunderstorm overnight, receiving about 80,000 lighting strikes in 24 hours.
After a night with no sleep, we now have got power again, yay! But wow, it was rough - have a look at some pictures by people around the neighbourhood!

Wow! I noticed that my facebook feed was full of lightening photos yesterday. Looks like a pretty impressive storm.
ReplyDeleteI do miss the thunderstorms in Australia. We don't really get them here very often. I used to love sitting on the verandah watching lightening with my Dad as a kid :)
Spektakulært. Burde nesten bli et maleri i glass og ramme. Kanskje ikke fullt så flott å oppleve dette uværet. Klem fra mamma
