Occupying part of the former Old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills, located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, the Lobethal Bierhaus is a multi award winning fully operating micro brewery with accompanying cellar door tasting, sales, and restaurant. Apparently bier has been brewed in this area since 1891!
We had Buffalo wings and slider burgers for lunch at the Bierhaus before we headed off for the girls' riding lessons in Hahndorf. Gregg had some sampler tastings of their home brewed beer of course, and the verdict was "this is bloody good beer - gotta come back here"!
