Intet nytt under solen: Vår Citizenship battle!

….and we are waiting and waiting…Since the Norwegian government after 5 years TOOK BACK Agnes and Elliot's Norwegian citizenship because they are also Australian citizens (which paradoxically they allow for big sister Milla - she can be a dual citizen because she was born abroad and not in Norway! When will Norwegian kids born in Norway have the same rights as Norwegian kids born in a foreign country??!!), we have been fighting to get it back! After a long and arduous year-and-a-half, it was opened up so that we could re-apply for them to again become Norwegian citizens - see Norwegian Children's Rights to Norwegian Citizenship and Statsborger.no.

Norway Immigration told us we would receive an answer in 4-8 weeks. Now it has been 10 weeks and still no word whether Agnes and Elliot will get their Norwegian citizenship back :-(
