40 in Barossa Valley: Life's too short for boring wines!

What is Barossa Valley if not wine?!
There are 755 grape growers and there is a total of 13,256 hectares of vineyard area planted in the Barossa. The majority of plantings are Shiraz, with other varieties such as Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Riesling and Semillon also part of the Barossa wine tapestry. The Barossa is home to some of the oldest continuously producing vineyards in the world and it was founded in 1840.

It is so exciting to drive around - on a treasure hunt for flavour!!! All the vineyards have cellardoors where everyone is welcome to stop by and taste the selection of wines they make! And it is completely free! And the beauty of the landscape....row upon row of grapes...Gregg said: let's move here! Yeah, why not?!

Needless to say we stocked up on lots and lots of exciting wines from big and small vineyards! We love Barossa Valley!!!
