Ludo!

Who remembers playing Ludo as a child? Oh my gosh, so much fun! Besta brought Ludo for the girls and they had a marathon session....of which Elliot was crowned the WINNER!

Finally...Elderflower!

Finally my mum got to taste the Elderflower soda at the local cafe!

And she thought it was yummy!

Ooooooooooo...

…came across Elliot's little toilet-paper ghost from halloween…its face has got wet and runny but it's a cute little ghost….

…oooooooooooooooooooo!!!

My 'femule' presentations at school

At the moment the topic of inquiry at school is family. They have done family interviews, they have made artwork with family pictures - picked the pictures themselves and I printed them for them - they have made family portraits, and the girls did so well in presenting who is in their family at school!

Love Agnes' spelling of family - very soundbased: femule :-)

Well done girls!

FIRE!!!!

Oh my gosh, we had some action-jackson outside our house! A tree-lopper tipped over in speed, and because it was fully fueled, it ignited, exploded and the flames were three meters high! I was doing the dishes and saw it all happen through the kitchen window - thank god the CSF firemen came superfast when I called 000 emergency line. We thought for sure our big tree would catch fire, and because it is hot and dry, we worried for the surroundings and the house! It all went well though thanks to the quick reaction of the firemen, and here are some pictures from a little later, when it all died down.
Gosh, that's how quick accidents happen!

Bygave!

School walk with Besta & Besten!

The girls wanted to bring in Besta & Besten for show and tell in the classroom :-)

...and the kids got to ask lots of questions after Milla had told them about the grandma and grandpa in Norway!

Milla's Choir Performance

Milla sings in the school choir and last week they held a performance at the hospital where I work - it was wonderful! Everyone there had a smile on their face!!!

My favourite song of theirs is 'Cocoanut Woman' by Harry Belafonte and when they sang it, everyone cheered:

Besta & Besten are here!

Here we are at the airport. They left on Monday and arrived here Wednesday morning….so tired!

We have got three happy girls in the house these days  - who get to jump into Besta & Besten's bed every morning now :-)
