Squirt

Time for another riding lesson. This time the girls had a new pony called Squirt. We thought that was hilarious, because when Elliot was a baby, she had a very bad reflux problem and regurgitated all the time - violently! Hence her nickname became Squirt - as she just squirted out all her food...all over herself, the bed, me and Gregg....everywhere...all the time! Elliot likes her nickname - and she has a special bond with Squirt. She says: 'he is my special friend, you know'. Squirt is 32 years old, and he hardly have any teeth left. When we feed him carrots after our lessons, we have to cut the carrots into small pieces, bless him:-)

The girls have started trotting confidently now at riding school. I am so impressed. We are all enjoying our visits to the farm; hanging out with goats and lamas and riding is great! Thank you Besta and Besten for sponsoring our riding lessons!
