This morning Milla left for a 2 day camp at
Arbury Park. She is up for an exciting camp experience, set up for experiential learning in a bush setting! The focus is Aboriginal cultural studies, and she is really excited to learn about bush tucker, food found in nature, such as witchetty grubs, honey ants, green ants (tastes like lime) and wattlebush. She has brought a tub of our bush medicine to show everyone, which auntie Marianne from the
Ngarrindjeri people made for us. We use if for Agnes' eczema - it is the only thing that works!

All bags are packed! Ready! |
Heading to school... butterflies in our tummies now! |
Some last minute information from Maria, the class teacher. |
Going to the bus...here we go! |
Difficult to see, but Milla is sitting closest to the window directly over the second 'O' |
...'but I loooooove her'!!!! Agnes a bit sad as Milla's bus drove off |
So she's off for a few days, with Alvin in her suitcase and her camera ready to snap lots of photos. Can't wait to see pictures from her camp experience!
Milla's first camp - how exciting! I'm sure she's going to have a great time. Ava is so keen to go on a camp but I think she has to wait a few years here. They go on little excursions though so that will have to do for now :)
