Milla have made Easter treats to bring to class and they turned out so cute!
First we bought some milk chocolate mini eggs.
Then we bought little glassine bags and neon pink love heart-stickers to seal the bags.
We had an old stamp and we put in letters that said:
Happy Easter
Love Milla
So, we put it all together... First we stamped the message on each bag. Then we put the Easter eggs into the little bags and closed them with the neon loveheart-stickers....
and voila! This is how they turned out! Pretty cute if you ask me!!
Happy Easter everyone!
Cute :) I wish we got to do Easter stuff at Ava's school but Easter is such a non-event here in America. There's not even a day off for anyone! Ava's pre-school had an Easter celebration last year but that was simply because it's a Christian pre-school and they can do whatever religious stuff they want. Even the non-religious side of Easter (Easter Bunny, eggs etc) is not touched on at public schools here. I'm still struggling with the fact that Easter eggs and hot cross buns don't really exist here. It's very, very sad :(
ReplyDeleteThat is so surprising considering in America everything else of celebrations are so over the top. And you are so good at making Easter treats! I still remember the eggs filled with candy you made for your entire family one year! Over here it sure is overload of chocolate eggs and hot cross buns. We have not bought any buns this year because of the palm oil Woolies are using in theirs. Not good. So we have made our own versions. Very good. Happy Easter to you!
