Saturday afternoon after our church service, we headed over to Julia, the girls' piano teacher. She had invited us over to her house for an end of year party. Everyone played two Christmas carols and we even managed to persuade Julia to play us a beautiful song at the end. Afterwards they all received awards for their participation of the year; Agnes' award was for music literacy as she is excellent at reading notes and the music she is playing, Elliot's award was for being the best student and being very determined,thorough, not missing any lessons and improving most, and Milla's award was for best performer as she is always doing well at performances, being focused and playing well.
Here are some of the students in their group - they all did so well! Afterwards we had a party with Christmas cakes and table tennis. Thanks Julia for a great finish of 2014 piano!
