Guess what we did yesterday? We were on a film-set and Milla, Agnes and Elliot filmed a commercial! They are so excited and can't wait until it is showing on TV!
The little actresses were so good - enduring long hours of taping and even longer hours of waiting in-between takes. Here is another one of the stars in the commercial - her name is Molly, she is a Boston Terrier and she just l-o-v-e-d the fruit we brought to snack on! I have never seen a dog eat oranges before. The lady in the picture is Milla, Agnes and Elliot's 'pretend' mum in the film. They thought that was heaps funny - 'wow, we have a pretend mum! Does that mean we have a step-mum now?'
Milla and Elliot wrote a journal to their classes about the learning experience of filming for TV that they will present at school tomorrow.
And here is 'the set' - the big studio where the action was caught on tape. Lots of people involved for sound and cameras and still shots and close ups...
The girls had a great day on set, learning about how the ads and commercials we see on TV is being made. And more so, the fact that they got a pay check at the end of the day seemed to impress them even more - I don't know what they plan to spend their money on :D
Oaw, looks like so much fun! How did this happen - did get they scouted on the street?!
ReplyDeleteWhat was the commercial for?
Yes, it was lots of fun. They have been asked on a couple of occasions, but we have always said no. This time they really wanted to do it, so we went with it and I think they learned a lot. They sure liked it. Also, the ad is not for Maccas or anything, but something we support; advance directives, so that's a good thing too:D
DeleteHow exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to put the ad on Youtube when it airs so I can see it over here :)
