Breakfast in bed!

Surprise!!! On this last morning of the year Gregg and I were treated to breakfast in bed and a theatre play at the foot of the bed by Milla, Agnes and Elliot. How lucky are we!

We are looking forward to the annual New Years Eve celebration at the beach later today :-)

Putting our stamp on it!

With two full time jobs and a busy family life, our renovations are only slowly progressing. But we will get to the end one day :-) Today we got to put our stamp on our house by signing it!

Og flitting brodering... Jentene har laert og sy og holder paa og fullfoere sine aller foerste broderier; Milla syr en sommerfugl, Agnes syr en hest og Elliot syr paa Rudolf :-)

Og mange, mange, mange flere presanger! Tusen tusen takk til alle sammen som har gledet jentene vaare saa utrolig mye - de setter veldig stor pris paa gavene og husker hvor alt kommer fra - naar jeg spor hvem fikk du den fra, saa kommer det kontant 'den var fra....'. I morges sto vi opp, hadde frokost i sofaen og saa pa film som de fikk fra gudmor Randi og gudfar Petter - den far fin for baade stor og liten - tusen takk! Etterpaa var det tid for Lego - tusen takk Besta og Besten - hestefarm og jungel  dyrehospital!

Naa skal vi gaa en tur i parken og senere er det tid for aa fyre opp iPad'ene de fikk hos Besta og Besten! Hurraaaaaaaa!

Christmas Day at GGs house!

We love spending time at GGs house down on the lake (Ada and Doug are Gregg's grandparents, and the girls call her GG - short for great-grandma).

After the annual Christmas lunch, GG had a new 'toy' that e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e wanted to try: his new electric gopher!!! Vrrrrooooooommmmm!

Even the sun came out eventually. It was a bit cold and windy in the morning - but that didn't matter because we got to use the new jumpers that Besta knitted us for Christmas! We l-o-v-e them, thanks Besta!
