Those pesky guests!!!

Did you guess...? And no, it wasn't ants or spiders....or possums, kangaroos or crocodiles....

...look at that flowing, luscious hair...

IIIIIIIIIIIIK!!! EEEEEWWWWWW!!! Darned! Headlice!!!

Dear Lord, all the combing, treatments and conditioner....4 heads of looooong hair. By the second week Gregg said: That's it! Let's just shave it all off!!!

But we did it! Finally they're all gone! Halleluja!

  1. Oh no! I'm itchy just thinking about it!
We've always been lucky that Ava has missed getting head lice whenever there's been an outbreak at school or preschool.
I wash her hair with Eco Kid Prevent shampoo and conditioner every now and then, and we use the leave in conditioner spray too. It prevents head lice but unlike most of the other products on the market it actually smells nice. It's made of organic ingredients and it's fine for sensitive skin. We used to use it all the time but have been using it much more sparingly since we moved to America. It's an Australian product and I haven't found a retailer here.
I used to buy it from my hairdresser but I do remember also seeing it at other salons around town too.

  2. I will be looking for those products! I am spraying some diluted tea tree oil in the hair at the moment to prevent getting any more uninvited guests, but it does smell rather strong:( Oh my god, what a process it has been!!!

    1. You can buy EcoKid products online now. In the past they were only available in store and it was tricky to find a stockiest.
      Here's a link to their store: http://www.ecokidorganics.com/home/index
