I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa....

The Colourrun advertised the happiest 5 km on the planet - it is true!!! We had so much fun! Here we are AFTER the race finished - all coloured out!

But before this, we started out VERY excited, clean and ready to dance our way through the next 5 kilometres! The race consisted of a route where we had to pass through different colour-stations where we were dunked, drenched, sprayed and squirted with colours - before at the end there was a massive colour explosion of pink, yellow, blue and orange powder!!! Here we go...

Gregg and Agnes heading into the orange colour station...

HI-FIVEs to the Colourrun people

Gregg and the girls running through the blue station...

Elliot and I dancing our way through the blue colour!

Milla doing 'the robot' dance!

...lol, the music was blaring and I'm dancing away....

Gregg and the girls line up for a photo....and someone is sneaking up behind Gregg.....
...he doesn't know it yet and is just posing away......about to be drenched in yellow!!!
Ha ha, didn't see that one coming!

Out on the other side we realised we lost Agnes....had to go back and find her...
...she was still playing with the yellow powder....
...mamma, this is just my favourite!!!

Many colourful people!
And many colourful outfits!
Our colourful shoes!
Getting our colour pouches ready for the big colour-throw finale...
...and we just couldn't contain ourselves and had to do a little test-throwing...

We did the Colourrun!
Tired but happy in our hearts!

All done! Now how to get home without messing up and colouring the car....

A happy little colour runner!

Making a wish...

Shaking off excess colour...
A perfect day! We wanna do it again!!!

  1. What a fantastic day! We were so slow doing the Color Run last year (thanks to Lola insisting on walking the last kilometre) that we missed the big colour throw at the end. It looks great in your photos with all that colour in the air above everyone!
I also love the photos of the girls throwing the colour at each other and that one of the guy sneaking up behind Gregg is great!
Have fun cleaning all the colour off everything. Almost a year down the track and the girls car seats are still slightly pink, blue, green...

    1. I know what you mean!!! Even though we were so meticulous in removing clothes and colour powder before we headed home, it is still found everywhere! It just makes me smile, though. A reminder of a great day!
