Lista Fyr

Each year between 30.000 and 40.000 people visit Lista Lighthouse. And this week, so did we. We packed our lunches and went exploring the beautiful scenery around the 34 meter high lighthouse - one amongst many cathedrals of the coastline of Norway. We  had a salty experience accompanied by the sound of wind and waves.

Magic at the lighthouse

Lots of stairs to climb...

A little rest before we start exploring
Nyperosa - an art installation. Free to use for anyone
who might want to spend the night
I have spent a lot of time in the little white house to the left;
a childhood  friend was the daughter of the lighthouse
keeper at the time!
