Agnes has lost her Rascal today. We found him dead in the guinea pig garden this afternoon. They are all sad. But of course he was very special to Agnes, her cheeky little boy, and she is devastated. It was sudden and he was playful with a good appetite this morning - we don't know what happened, it could have been a snake bite or he could have just fallen asleep. She said 'now he is at the end of his journey'....my darling Agnes has now experienced her first sorrow.
