Every morning I wake up...tap-tap-tap on the window. It is Douglas saying hello. Can you see him sitting on the ledge outside my window?
He is a Rainbow Lorikeet and what he is asking us so politely is to fill up some seeds in the bird feeder hanging in the tree right outside our bedroom window. After becoming a 'regular' morning visitor, Elliot named him Douglas. He has been visiting for about 4 months now - we really like having him around!
