Our school fair is run by parents and is a very popular neighborhood event - we had an estimated 3000 visitors and earlier it has won the ‘Australia Day Event of the Year Award’! Trust me, it didn't disappoint this year either - heaps of people, scrumptious food, high quality entertainment, fantastic stalls and
sensational side shows. This was our very first fair as it is held on a bi-annual basis, and our little family contributed with a waffle stall...mmmmmm! With the fair school families raise money for improving the school facilities, such as the newly erected fence. We have an incredible community spirit up here in the Hills! And we are glad to be part of it!

Henna tattoos all over the place |

Milla's teacher performed with a 'put-together-for-the-occasion' band - we had prime view and danced along all morning |
There was live music and plenty of entertainment - the kids had their pocket money and they ran all over the place playing games, participating in wet-sponge-throwing contests, of course face paining, Milla was busking and they were all performing with the choir...the entire day was full of fun - and once in a while they popped their heads in to our tent 'checking in' and having a break. We were SO busy that I completely didn't get to go around and take photos of all the fun :( But, on the other hand we were glad that our Norwegian Waffles were well received by the audience!
