So many things to taste!

Maggie Beer AM is an Australian cook, food author, restaurateur and food manufacturer. Maggie Beer is Australia's 'Ingrid Espelid Hovig'. We visited her farm shop, and wow, one can wander around and taste every single product that she makes out of her kitchen.

We ordered picnic baskets with her pates,  we also tried her daily specials, and a constant every day of a game terrine, wrapped in sour cream pastry, served with cabernet sauce and salad greens. And always desserts with fruits from her orchard. Mmmmmmmm!

Shaped by the soil and sun of Australia!

It’s a story of people, passion and place. A 167-year history that first began when a Bavarian immigrant missed the taste of wine from his homeland so much, he decided to start growing grapes. In the 1840s, William Jacob settled on the banks of a small unnamed creek and planted his first vineyard. His vision was to create great tasting wines that reflect the true character of the grapes and the land. Yep, that came true. Today wine from Jacob's Creek is exported to over 60 countries.

We visited Jacob's Creek winery in Barossa Valley for some indulgence amongst the grapevines...
