Advent is here!

I love December month and the lead up to Christmas. The girls and I are enjoying the smells of cinnamon and baking and lots and lots of Christmas music. Every day we add some more Christmas spirit and - sparke and shine!

The Advent calendars are ready!

We also made little Christmas treats for all the kids in the girls' classes. First we printed out Christmassy motifs, then we stitched up little paper triangles before we filled them with goodies! A perfect little treat for everyone, yet simple enough for the girls to do straight sewing on the machine!

4 little furry friends!

Who says dogs need a water bowl to drink from?! We took our little furry friends over to the park to play - and gosh, we all got thirsty after playing chasy and throwing the ball in the heat :-) Hooray for drinks fountains. Look, Lego has got the hang of it!!

Heatwave!

Ugh! It is so, so hot. 41and we are roasting. Nowhere else but the beach is going to do the trick today! We headed down to Sellicks with big and little friends :) Fish and chips for dinner, yay!

Pepperkakebaking!

Åååå, så herlig at det snart er jul igjen! Endelig på tide med pepperkakebaking og julemusikk sammen med gode venner.

I miss my mum terribly! But we are twirling with happiness because next week she will arrive for a visit!!!

22 sleeps until Christmas!

The first presents have been wrapped and sent off to Norway. I love this time leading up to Christmas!
