Hurra for Bestefar Torfinn

I dag er det en stor rund dag i Hurdalen - bestefar Torfinn fyller 60 ar! Gratulerer med dagen, til min staute far!

Her nede i Australia har jeg og jentene sittet og sett i gjennom gamle bilder. De syntes det var veldig rart og se bilde av meg som liten. Og de spurte meg flere ganger om jeg var sikker pa at det virkelig var meg pa bildene... Vet ikke om de var helt overbevist:) Alltid koselig og mimre tilbake i tid. Tenk at man var liten en gang...

.....yaaaaawn! It is 04:26 and I am awake. 

One by one they come tumbling into our bedroom during the night. The girls are now having a sleepover in our bed, and MrC has moved his snoring to the couch, and I can't sleep at all!

What do you like to do in winter time?

Winter time is here! Brrrrr.....

At Agnes and Elliot's Pre-School they asked if the kids could write what they like to do in the winter time.

Elliot wrote:

I like to build a guinea pig with a crown on. And drink hot chocolates with marshmallows

I like to build snowmen. Two of them! And a bunny rabbit.

Here they are - very happy with the results. Although, I think we have to get creative with our snow sculptures in the future...

Growing Garden

Look, the sunflower seeds the girls planted on their birthday are growing!

Very exciting! It said on the seed-bag that it would take a couple of weeks. I don't know how long time until we can expect a blossoming flower?

Although many trees are finished for the season, like our delicious plum tree, we are waiting for zingy citruses to mature....mmmmm!
