Fritz & Rascal!

Say hello to the two new boys in our family! Yesterday we went to Hahndorf Farmbarn and they had two scruffy little boys there just waiting to be brought home. Milla and Agnes fell instantly in love! Agnes' little 'orange' fella was named Rascal and Milla's tiny little guy...well, she named him Fritz!! (that was my grandpa's name, Milla used to call him Olde)

Elliot have to wait until we can find another boy somewhere. We will continue the search next weekend. 

This morning they watched a movie whilst snuggling with the guinea pigs :D Oh, the joy!

Mmmmm...parsely for breakfast!

White Rabbit!

What do you say when smoke gets in your eyes...? You say 'white rabbit, white rabbit' and then it goes away and blows in another direction! It's true!

Heading to our neighbors on the other side of the creek behind our house for some marshmallows over the bonfire it is a handy phrase to know - just ask the girls!

This is their dog Boof who says never mind the marshmallows, just give me a belly-scratch!!!

Care-package from Besta!

Oh, we have the best Besta! Yesterday we received a 'care-package' in our mailbox with magazines, Norwegian foods and new clothes for the girls! Elliot held up the pants and squeeled: 'oh, mamma, these are ADORABLE!!!' She immediately put them on and started dancing.

Looks like Samba is fed up of relaxation! When he wants to go for a walk, he gets veeeeery close just staring...and then passing the lead to you!

Meet Goggles Considine!

This is mr Goggles Considine - the newest member of our family! He is a black goldfish with big, googly eyes. He moved in yesterday, but we have been looking for him for quite a while...

...back in May we went to CasaBlaBla for a bite to eat and to watch a Flamenco performance. Right behind our sofa-nook there was an aquarium and amongst all the beautiful tropical fish, all the girls had eyes for was this one black little guy with huge googly eyes...and they decided they were going to get a little fella like that and his name would be Goggles Considine!

And now he is here! Finally the corner pet shop got some...

After soccer this morning we met up with some friends from school for a bush walk in the National Park and a hot chocolate afterwards. And then the most beautiful rainbow appeared!

Oh, I love a weekend without work...! Gregg and I alternate on weekend work and he's tiling this weekend,  so I'm off, hooraaaaayyyy :D

Birthday Soccer

One of the girls at soccer, miss A, had a birthday this morning, so it was cupcakes all around instead of the usual oranges! Yay!

Elliot was elected by the students in her class to be their Student Representative Council person. Well done, Elliot! Now she is looking forward to going to meetings and contributing to change :D AND she gets to wear a special badge on her uniform! Look!

Powderpink Practice

Milla and Elliot have been practicing for days. They have decided to do some busking to raise money for charity! They'll be poetry reading and singing buskers called Powderpink! Well done, girls, you are really brave. We are looking forward to supporting your gig!
