Almond Blossom Festival
The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is held every year in the last week
of July, just as it has been since 1969.
Since that very first festival, over 40 years ago, more than $1million has been raised for the Willunga Recreation Park and the associated sporting and community clubs. Sunday morning after our soccer match we were ready to head down to Willunga.

Christmas in July
Southern hemisphere seasons are in reverse to the northern hemisphere,
with summer falling in December and January and winter falling in June
and July. Therefore in southern hemisphere countries such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Christmas in July or Midwinter Christmas events are undertaken in order
to have Christmas with a winter feel in common with the northern
hemisphere!
On Saturday we were off to celebrate Christmas in July with our neighbours and friends - we were about 15 families with HEAPS of kids! My oh my did we have a lot of fun and good food!!!

Girls night out! Yay!
We've had an eventful weekend! First up was a girls night out at the:
We watched 'Jeg er Din', which I highly recommend! I thoroughly enjoyed it - so full of emotions, highs and lows, about living between cultures.
