Kangaroo for dinner!

We often have Kangaroo for dinner. It is lean meat, very tasty and tender and very affordable. For our visitors it is not an every-day occurrence though.

Skippy for dinner?!?!

Christmas has started!

I just love the time leading up to Christmas...wrapping presents and writing cards...love it. Unfortunately I am working 15 hour-days lately, so there is not so much time for Christmas enjoyment :-( But I managed to wrap a few presents the other day, yay! Christmas has started!

Tuesday 3 December 2013

….Rrrrrooooooaaaaarrrr!

We have a Katie Perry fan in the house!

I found this on the iPad. Milla is the fan :-)

Northerners defrosting!

Just the week before my parents came to town, we had visitors from Tromsø. We had such lovely weather that week - time to defrost from the snow at home! Ketil had a new camera and took all of these pictures. Love them - now I want a 'micro4/3rds' camera too!

Went to Cleland to look at the wildlife

Feeding the kangaroos, of course!

...and petting the koalas!

Cleland-monkeys!

Bubbles in Glenelg!
Fish and chips on the beach

The Mosely square fountain is great in the heat!

Having fun in the watersquirts!

Even witnessing a crash - not related to us luckily!

Christmas lights are up!

Perfect sunset at the beach...
